In the time that had passed since our chance meeting, I’d
accumulated data on ever y horse and jockey that was on the card. I
knew absolutely ever y thing about them; their age, weight, where
they ’d raced before, where they had placed, everything.
I used the data to compile some pretty complex char ts to predict the
winners, char ts which I showed the guys while walking to the
venue…
